Breakfast in the Bus

Gato's BreakfastGato had a little breakfast out in the bus. I was trying to get some work done on Wilson (the continuing effort to get ready for 6/5). She screamed at the garage door until I finally let her in. After an hour of sitting in the bus, it was time for her breakfast. I set the plate down and then backed off so she could feast.

There's no doubt Gato thinks this is her bus and she loves it. That’s why her stash of food and treats are always in the cabinet.

  1. This is great. We have a green 1978 Westy named Tortuga. We also have two cats, not that they go camping with us though. I just found your blog and look forward to digging through it. We live in Reno, Nevada and have had Tortuga since 05'. It is in good shape for a daily driver. We look forward to some fixes, but we love her as she is. In fact she is in the shop getting her semi annual dwell adjustment. Kind of frustrating, but...

  2. Tortuga runs great now.

  3. Very cool Chris. I hope to learn how to adjust the dwell myself this weekend. I recently picked up a multimeter with dwell and tach, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I have to get the fuel lines and pump relaced first. Good luck with Tortuga!

  4. Excellent post. It is a pleasure reading it. I have bookmarked your post in my computer.
